Saturday Vs Sabbath Keepers

How do you know if you are truly entering God's rest?
How do you rest the rest of Jesus?

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Mat 11:28-30

There remaineth therefore a rest [a keeping of a Sabbath / Sabbathism] to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Heb 4:9-11

Origin of Christmas

Christmas, is it holy or unholy festivity?
The date December 25 shows that its origin is of pagan celebration, known as Yule. It is to celebrate the sun god, Mithra, as well other lesser gods. It is also celebrate by witches as well. And every symbol in Christmas is against the biblical doctrine itself!!!

Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen...For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. Jer 10:1-5 KJV

God's Will For Me

Have you ever wonder how to have all your prayers answered?
Have you ever wonder how you can have your prayers answered before you even ask?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD. Jer 29:11-14

Are You Ready for God's Trials

Can you handle the Great Tribulation?...to be ready for translation.
Can you handle the fiery fire like Daniel?

Through all our trials we have a never-failing Helper. He does not leave us alone to struggle with temptation, to battle with evil, and be finally crushed with burdens and sorrow. Though now He is hidden from mortal sight, the ear of faith can hear His voice saying, Fear not; I am with you. "I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore." Revelation 1:18. I have endured your sorrows, experienced your struggles, encountered your temptations. I know your tears; I also have wept. The griefs that lie too deep to be breathed into any human ear, I know. Think not that you are desolate and forsaken. Though your pain touch no responsive chord in any heart on earth, look unto Me, and live.{DA 483.1}

USA Freedom is Restricted

When will the beast with two horns like a lamb speak as a Dragon? Rev 13:11

The Constitution guarantees the Bill of Rights for USA citizen, especially the 4th Amendment:

The Fourth Amendment (Amendment IV) to the United States Constitution is the part of the Bill of Rights which guards against unreasonable searches and seizures. The amendment specifically also requires search and arrest warrants be judicially sanctioned and supported by probable cause. It was adopted as a response to the abuse of the writ of assistance, which is a type of general search warrant, in the American Revolution. Search and arrest should be limited in scope according to specific information supplied to the issuing court, usually by a law enforcement officer, who has sworn by it. [Introduced in 1789 by Congress, and accepted into the Constitution in 1791].

But USA now has the Rex 84 Law - which does limit and restrict the Constitution if there is a "threat"

Rex 84, short for Readiness Exercise 1984, is a contingency plan developed by the US federal government to suspend the US Constitution, declare Martial Law, place military commanders in charge of state and local governments, and detain large numbers of American citizens who were deemed to be "National Security Threat", in the event that the President declared a "State of Domestic National Emergency".

So word National Security Threat is an open clause, that mean it allows further interpretation according to the President, or the US government to decide what is "National Security threat"?
Is your relationship right with Jesus? Are you ready for the Final Rapid Movements starting at the Sunday Law? Are you studying to be completely settled in the Truth by the Holy Spirit?

Carrying Your Cross!!!

And he [Jesus] said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. Luke 9:23-26

Are you becoming worldly? Do you have cherished sin that you still have not repent off? If yes, then your cross is too short to make it.

The Perfect Storm is Coming

[A lady at SDA church forward this description or depiction of what is about to come to earth. It shows we are living in a very sobering time, to seek the Lord]

THE PERFECT STORM

From Dr. Diane Barnett, from www.harvestseekersministries.org, harvestseekers@gmail.com, dreams were around August - September 2010.

I recently had a dream that when I related it to others I found that they, too, had had a dream about a storm. May the seriousness and soberness of the hour be with us.

On Tuesday, August 3rd, I had a dream before awakening in the morning. I was walking outside to go into a building with my family. It was a clear day and one of my brothers was racing and playing around on the way in, making me laugh. As we got inside to a certain room, I felt wind blowing in. I knew that the room would never get warm unless the opening to the room was closed. My father and I went to go close it and saw that the main doors into the building were wide open. At that point I realized that the building was made of wood and was much like a barn. As we approached the doors, I saw that a tremendous storm was on us. The atmosphere of laughter was turned into crisis. All was dark and things were whirling every direction with winds of hurricane strength. We were struggling to close the doors as the strength of the winds were so strong that we could barely pull them. I heard a dog scream in the destruction of the winds just before waking.

As soon as I awoke I felt that the storm was the final crisis of the earth and that it is "near, even at the doors." I realized that all earthly buildings (spiritual and temporal) would be destroyed in such winds. I felt desperate to have the fullness of God's grace, His protection. I felt anxious to know that I had oil in my lamp. I have been praying for direction regarding certain decisions I must make, and I felt this dream was to help me know what to do. I felt it was significant as it was in the exact same manner as two previous dreams I had regarding my daughter's cancer: At 4:00 in the morning, short, succinct, and memorable.

I felt I had to tell someone of the dream so not to loose the impact. I called Winnie in Bermuda to tell her, and we had a prayer for help to get ready. Then when I got to work, Lisa was in my office.

"Lisa, I have to tell you about the dream I had this morning." After relating to her my dream, she said to me: "That's strange. I had a dream last night about a storm, too. In my dream I was standing outside of a large white building. Before me was a river and there were people all over the place playing and going about whatever business they had. Several of us were standing next to the white building, and though I was with them I had a sense that I really should be in the building. Very soon a warning was given to all of us that a really bad storm was coming and that we should seek shelter. Since I was standing close to the entrance of this large white building I thought that I'd stay outside just long enough to see the storm approach. I have always enjoyed storms so I didn't feel intimidated. But quite unexpected the storm blew in on a sunshiny day and all were so surprised that it was hard to maintain our footing. A large stocky man came out of nowhere and grabbed my arm and dragged me to safety inside the building rebuking me for being outside. People were screaming and all was crazy outside, but inside everything was peaceful and restful. And immediately I had the sense that this place was for only those who kept the health message and lived in unity with God. Many did not come inside though there was space for everyone. At that point, I woke up.

She did not think her dream was anything significant until she heard my dream. Hearing her dream also brought greater impact regarding my dream.
Later on Thursday of that week we were having devotions for medical conference. I shared my dream as well as Lisa's. One of the students then said that Nicky had also had a dream about a storm. When Nicky came in we asked her to share her dream.
She dreamed that there was a tsunami. Hundreds of people were being pulled out to the ocean and drowning. She was striving with all her energy to save an unknown person. She had to grab hold of the person and pull with all her strength to get the person to shore. There was a stairway with a banister coming out of the ocean. She put the person in front of her so that she could prevent the wave from crashing on the person. She got a hold of the banister with one hand, and with the other held onto the person. It took great effort to keep the person from being pulled out with the under-tow.

The next day, Friday morning, I had a phone conversation with a patient's mother in England. She told me that she and her husband were convicted that they needed to move back out to the countryside. They had moved closer to the city for convenience because of her husband's work. But the children were now totally unruly after being in public school.
I told her it was not only an option, but a directive from God as we are at the end of time. I then related my dream, as well as Lisa's and Nicky's. With amazement she then told me: "Dr. Diane, I had a dream about a storm six weeks ago. It was flooding and people were drowning everywhere. My concern was for my 5 children. I was desperately looking for all of them to make sure they were safe."

I had a lecture to give to our lifestyle guests at Uchee Pines that morning. As I finished my talk on cancer, I told them that I believed we were at the end of time. I related all the dreams about a storm to them, now four in number.
The following week on Monday afternoon I was seeing patients. I was visiting with our 15 year-old guest and her mother. Sydni left the room for a fever treatment while I finished discussing plans with her mother. June related to me how thankful she was to be able to come to Uchee Pines. She had struggled with weight issues for over 24 years unsuccessfully. What she had learned here at Uchee led her to a full commitment, and with God's grace, she and her husband would follow God's plan as a family.

I then asked her if she heard my lecture on Friday when I told about the storm dreams, especially Lisa's with the building that was for people that kept the Health Message.
"Dr. Diane, I almost fell out of my chair when you told those dreams. Sydni had a dream last week about a storm. I went and found her to ask her about the dream, but all she could tell me was that it was a horrible storm and she was so afraid."
The import of these messages seemed to be growing in weight. I had to tell everyone. I went to the executive office and asked Brother Champen if I could tell him something. "Well, I don't know. Is it good or bad?" he asked. "Yes!" was my answer.
I then related all the above story. When I finished, he remarked that "this is very sobering, and we are not ready. We are too busy."

I then went to my office to get ready to go home. A young woman from off-campus came in to visit. "Chrissy, I have to tell you something."
"Oh no. Do I need to sit down?" she asked. "No," I said, "you need to kneel down."
After I told her all of the dreams, she said to me, "Dr. Diane, I had two dreams last week about tidal waves. But there was a big wall by the shore and as long as we stood on the wall we were safe."

On Tuesday, Dr. Karla Boutet's told me of an experience (not a dream) that she had while at camp meeting at Camp Alamosa. It was a nice day and she decided to take the kids out on the lake in the paddle boat. As they paddled down the lake a little way, a woman stepped out on her porch and yelled out to them, "A storm is coming." Karla turned and asked her if she knew when it was coming. Others turned and headed for shore, encouraging her to head for shore as well. Just as they reached the dock the storm burst upon them. She felt impressed that this was as the storm coming upon the earth and that she should not ask "when" but to head for shore and be ready for the storm in shelter.
I continue to share this series of dreams because the seriousness grows as I hear from others that they, too, have had a dream or an experience of a storm.

August 14th after church on Sabbath I shared the stories with the Hargreaves. Teresa tells me that in the last week she woke in the morning with the song "Shelter in the Time of Storm" on her mind and she couldn't get it out of her mind.
She She said that was unusual for her; she never awakens with a song on her mind like that. She even told her parents about it as it seemed so out of the ordinary.

Later that day I had some friends over to the house. When I begin to share with them the story of the storm dreams, Jane interrupts me about three dreams into the story. About 4 weeks ago she had a dream about a storm wave. Joella's family, her own family, and her church family come to a house that they had never been to before but they feel like they know it. Someone suddenly shouts: "There's a big wave coming." "I walk to the front door and I see a huge wave, so huge it looks like it could hit the moon. I am afraid because I am thinking that no one is going to survive this, no one here underneath this roof. I stand watching it and as it gets closer it turns into monuments, like the red rock monuments of our land. I turned from looking out the door and saw that everyone in the room was in deep prayer. It seems like their prayers are what turned the waves into monuments. I felt impressed not to disturbed them and went to the back of the house. I then felt at peace, not afraid. It felt like God was there."

"When this dream occurred, I was going through very difficult trials at that time here at Uchee Pines. I felt out of place and I wanted to go home. As I woke up from this dream, I felt assurance that I was doing the right thing getting the training here at Uchee Pines because the storm is coming and that this is what I need to go back home and get my people ready."
August 27, 2010: In the last week, four more people have told me of a dream they have had in the last 2 months pertaining to being in a storm, mostly a tidal wave or tsunami. Amy Pershin had a dream of a tidal wave. She knew it was coming and the Lord said: "Just hold on." She felt herself under water temporarily with the Lord again saying, "Just hold on." She came out from under the water and felt the peace and security in the Lord. Mary Jane Lewis, Tatiana Meinhart, and Garrison Haywood all had a dream of a storm and I will add the details of these after they give them to me.

September 2, 2010: Sean Bryant told me today that he dreamed he was in a house and a tremendous and frightening storm was outside. All of the events Christ said would happen before His coming were happening, one right after another in quick succession. He said he knew they would happen quickly, but he didn't know it would be that quick. He saw fire coming out of the sky. He looked outside and saw a black cloud the size of a man's fist, growing as it came closer. He could see that it was the Lord coming but it dissipated before reaching him. He awoke feeling the great need to be ready now for the Lord's coming.

I feel very sure that the Lord is giving the message of urgency and the imminence of the hour.
When we as doctors have a patient that is approaching the end of their life, we tell them that "they need to get his/her affairs in order ... Is your will made?" I believe the Lord is telling us that we are at the end of life here on earth. It is time to get our affairs in order. Our living will needs to be in place.

Isaiah 26:20 says: "Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast."

Matthew 7:24-27 says: "Whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."

Will Jesus Return During Obama?

Will Jesus return when Obama is President
? Steve Wohlberg director of White Horse Media

Original message April 2008

The book of Acts predicts, quoting Joel 2:28, that in "the last days… young men shall see visions… old men shall dream dreams" (Acts 2:17). A few days ago White Horse Media learned about a pastor in the 1980's who had a dream informing him that Jesus Christ would return during the time that America had a black president. Here are a few excerpts from the email we received:

"Back in the 1980s, Elder Jack Darnall… who ran an end-time training center to prepare people for end-time events, held a prayer meeting in his house. As the people were leaving, he called aside another man and said to him that he felt impressed to tell him an impressive dream that he had.

"In the dream, he dreamed that it was the time when Jesus returned to Earth in power and great glory. America had an African-American president (something unthinkable in the 1980s) when Jesus returned. He was tall and thin, with close-cropped hair and large ears. When elected, at first he was greatly beloved by the people, but then he became a terrible dictator.

"The dream was not widely discussed, because at that time they could not see a black man being voted in as president with so much prejudice in the country still.

"It was just a dream, but an unlikely one at the time... We are not saying Pastor Jack Darnall was a prophet. We are simply saying that he had a dream. It may have been from the Lord, after all, the Lord said that at the end-times 'your old men shall dream dreams.' Joel 2:28. Time will tell whether this dream fits into that category. File it away in the back of your brain for future reference."

Apparently, the story was verified to be true. In other words, Elder Darnall really did have this dream. There was another point in the dream worth mentioning: there would be one more pope after John Paul II.

As the above quote states, "Time will tell." At White Horse Media, we are not prophets. Neither do we jump at every dream we hear about. Nevertheless, we felt that this one was worth sharing for you to think about.

"Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming" (Matthew 25:13).

Should Christians drink Wine?

The consumption of alcohol impairs judgment, inflames passions, and invites violence (Lev. 10:8-11; Proverbs. 20:1, 23:29-35, 31:4, 5).

There are 637 references to wine, drink and drinking in the King James Version of the Bible. Most people think in today’s terms, believing that when wine is mentioned it refers to alcoholic wine. Actually, that is not necessarily true. Thirteen different words are translated "wine" in the King James Version of the Bible. The word wine has a wide range of meaning in the Bible, covering everything from grape juice, to concentrated grape syrup to alcoholic wine.

Old Testament Hebrew Words for Wine...

"yayin" -- It is a general term for grape beverages and includes all classes of wine, non-alcoholic or alcoholic; unfermented, in the process of fermentation and fermented. (Proverbs 31:4) The context will show whether it is alcoholic wine or not. Yayin, when used properly was always diluted with water.

"shekar" -- It is the word for strong drink, unmixed wine. Yakin is wine to be distinguished from Shekar, or strong drink. The former is diluted with water; the later is undiluted." Shekar was not diluted with water." (Numbers 28:7)

"Tirosh" -- This word refers to fresh grape juice. It is referred to often as new wine or sweet wine. (Proverbs 3:10; Deuteronomy 7:13)

New Testament Greek Words for Wine...

"oinos" is the counterpart to the Old Testament word yayin. It is a general term for grape beverages and includes all classes of wine, non-alcoholic or alcoholic; fermented or unfermented. The context has to be used to determine whether the drink was intoxicating or not. (Luke 10:34; Ephesians 5:18). Oinos, when used properly was always diluted with water.

"sikera" is the counterpart to the Old Testament word shekar. It is the word for strong drink, unmixed wine. (Luke 1:15)

"gleukos" is the counterpart to the Old Testament word tirosh. This refers to fresh wine, a new wine or freshly squeezed grape juice.

Why believers should abstain from drinking alcohol…

1. Drinking leads to Drunkenness

Drunkenness is condemned in the Bible
Isaiah 5:11, Proverbs 23:20, Romans 13:13, Galatians 5:19a & 21, Ephesians 5:18
Drunkards will not inherit the Kingdom of God
1 Corinthians 6:9-10

The fact is that the Bible clearly condemns drunkenness. Drunkenness is a serious matter.

2. The Bible condemns strong drink
Proverbs 20:1, Isaiah 5:11, Proverbs 23:29-31

What was strong drink in Bible times?

Distillation was not discovered until about 1500 A.D. Strong drink and unmixed wine in Bible times was from 3% to 11% alcohol. Therefore, since anybody in biblical times who drank unmixed wine (9-11% alcohol) was definitely considered a barbarian, then it is obvious that a Christian should not drink hard liquor at all.

Christians should not drink strong drink. Since wine has 9 to 11% alcohol and one brand 20% alcohol, you should not drink that. Brandy contains 15 to 20% alcohol and hard liquor has 40 to 50% alcohol (80 to 100 proof), and that is obviously excluded.

3. In Bible times what Christians drank was sub-alcoholic (purified water).

Remember the Hebrew word "yayin" and the Greek word "oinos". These were the companion words for wine whether fermented or unfermented. In fact, whether fermented or not, it was mixed with water.

All alcoholic beverages used in our culture fall under the biblical classification of strong drink and are therefore forbidden. The least ratio of water to wine mixture used in Bible times was 3 parts water to 1 wine. That produced a sub-alcoholic drink that was 2.5% to 2.75% alcohol. Normally, the ratio was even higher, up to 20 to 1. There is no Biblical support for a Christian to drink alcoholic beverages today. What early believers drank was sub-alcoholic by today’s standards. Pastors and deacons were cautioned to steer around even the sub-alcoholic stuff (I Timothy 3:3 & 8).

Drinking, even social drinking cannot be legitimately supported by the Bible. Every drink that is available today, even beer, falls into the category of unmixed or strong drink. Clearly, Christians should not drink alcoholic beverages. Drinking socially is a worldly activity and in light of the fact that believers are neither to be conformed to the world (Romans 12:2) nor love the world (I John 2:15) our choice should be clear. We are to be separate from the worldly system (II Corinthians 6:17) and a light to the world (Ephesians 5:8; Philippians 2:15).

Perhaps social drinking has enhanced the acceptability of Christians in society, but it has not advanced the cause of Christ, and it does not glorify God, Social drinking is simply a means which the devil uses to blunt our testimony for Christ and squeeze us into his mold.

Worldwide Dead Fish from???

Could this be the result of Oil Spill at the Luoisana coast in May 2010? and the toxic solvent chemicals to cause the oil to sink into the ocean destroying the marine life, and the current water carries it to worldwide.

But the Oil Spill Corp, shadow government, want you to think it is related to low Oxygen levels, and they call it "scientist" answer. Just use your common sense.

Something isn't right with all of this and the earthquakes constantly and big ONES and volcanoes erupting, Sinkholes opening up worldwide as well, the flooding, the gas pipe in San Bruno California, the great oil leak of 2010 et cetera...

John the baptist, a vegetarian??

The gospels record John the Baptist's diet consisting of locusts and honey. I used to always assume locusts were those flying crop destroyers... a type of grasshopper. But guess what... it ISNT!

From the dictionary:

locust |ˈlōkəst| (noun)
1 a large and mainly tropical grasshopper with strong powers of flight. It is usually solitary, but from time to time there is a population explosion, and it migrates in vast swarms that cause extensive damage to crops. • Several species in the family Acrididae, including the migratory locust ( Locusta migratoria), which is sometimes seen in Europe.
• (also seventeen-year locust) the periodical cicada.

2 (also locust bean) the large edible pod of some plants of the pea family, in particular the carob bean, which is said to resemble a locust.
3 (also locust tree) any of a number of pod-bearing trees of the pea family, in particular the carob tree and the black locust.

And in Counsels on Diet and Foods p.71

John separated himself from friends, and from the luxuries of life. The simplicity of his dress, a garment woven of camel's hair, was a standing rebuke to the extravagance and display of the Jewish priests, and of the people generally. His diet, *purely vegetable*, of locusts and wild honey, was a rebuke to the indulgence of appetite, and the gluttony that everywhere prevailed.

And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. Luke 15:16

BlueLetterBible, using Thayer's Lexingcon definition: husks = keration (Greek transliteration)

The name of the fruit, Ceratonia silqua or carobtree (called also John's Bread [from the notion that its pods, which resemble those of the "locust", constituted the food of the Baptist]. This fruit was shaped like a horn and has a sweet taste; it was and is used not only for fattening swine, but as an article of food by the lower classes.

Lost Crops of Africa: Volume II:

Vegetables 11 LOCUST BEAN The West African locust looks nothing like what Westerners might consider a vegetable plant to be. It is a tree. A true Jack-and-the-beanstalk kind of crop, it is indeed related to beans, albeit distantly. It often grows more than 20 meters tall, and people harvest all the pods they can get, sometimes climbing all the way to the top. Outsiders might dismiss this as a tall tale, but they’d be wrong. Locust combines in a single species Africa’s two greatest needs: food and tree cover. More locusts mean more food and more trees, which add up to more hope for a better continent...Locust beans are attractive savanna trees, with dramatically spreading crowns and clusters of globular bright red flowers dangling like holiday decorations on long stalks. And they produce many benefits. For one thing, they produce fruit. Numerous large pods, up to as long as your forearm and wider than your thumb, emerge all over the spreading crown, dangling like the fingers of a green or brown giant. Inside each pod is a yellow or orange dryish pulp. People like it, and no wonder: it can be half sugar and very sweet to the taste, almost like a desert. This mealy delight can make a useful baby food but for many children it may be the main—if not the only—dish, depending on what is left in the family’s granary. It is also made into colorful and refreshing drinks. And it is dried down into a white or yellowish powder that can be stored for later use, at which time it is commonly sprinkled over rice or meat. But sugary pulp is not this tree’s main gift. Instead, it is the seeds enclosed within it that are the most prized product. These are a regular part of people’s diet and, throughout much of West Africa, they also turn into lifesavers in times of famine. They contain about 30 percent protein, 20 percent fat, 12 percent sugar, 15 percent starch, and 12 percent fiber, as well.

What is the meaning of the word "Protestant?"

Excerpts from "Lessons from the Reformation" by A.T. Jones

What is the meaning of the word "Protestant?" How came it into the world?

The word "Protestant," as expressing a religious distinction; the word "Protestant" with a capital P; the word "Protestant," as dealt with by the Chicago Council of the Federated Churches; came into the world with the word "Protest" that was used in the Protest that was made at the Diet of Spires in Germany, April 19, 1529.

That Protest was made against the arbitrary, unjust, and persecuting procedure of the papacy in that Diet.

This procedure in the Diet of Spires of 1529 swept away the religious liberty that had been agreed upon and regularly established in the Diet of Spires of 1526.

The religious liberty established by the Diet of Spires of 1526 was the result of a deadlock in the proceedings of that Diet over the enforcement, by all the power of the then papacy, of the Edict of Worms that had been issued in 1521 commanding the destruction of Martin Luther, his adherents, his writings, and all who printed or circulated his writings, or who on their own part should print or circulate the like.

Thus the Protest in which originated the word "Protestant" was against the effort of the papacy to destroy the Reformation, and was in behalf of the Reformation and its principles.

And now for anybody to renounce, repudiate, or disown, the word or title "Protestant," is to repudiate the Protest.

To repudiate the Protest, is to repudiate as unworthy the cause and the principles in behalf of which the Protest was made.

And that cause was the Reformation. Those principles were the principles of the Reformation.

Therefore, to renounce, repudiate, or disown, the word and title "Protestant" is nothing less and nothing else than to repudiate the Reformation.

And the Federal Council of Churches, thirty-one denominations, having "a membership of more than seventeen millions," at Chicago, Ill., Dec. 5, 1912, did unanimously renounce, repudiate, and disown, the word and title "Protestant."

The Most Important Book in the Universe

THE BIBLE contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you

It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim's staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christian's charter. Here Paradise is restored, Heaven opened, and the gates of hell disclosed.

CHRIST is its grand subject, our good the design and the glory of God its end.

It should fill the memory, rule the heart, and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It is given you in life, will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labor, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.
Author Unknown

The Holy Bible is the Authorized King James Version of 1611. The Bible is the best selling book of all time. The King James Bible has served Christians, and unbelievers (as a savour unto death), for almost 400 years and has brought millions to the life saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. The King James Bible is the culmination of the ancient Bibles begun by Wycliffe. Satan has attempted to destroy it through the Catholic religion which prohibited possession of this Book and killed multiplied millions that cherished it. The King James Bible produced more martyrs than any other Bible. Blood, tears, imprisonment, torture, trial and tribulation went into every page of THAT BOOK.

Yet the Bible still stands today. Bless God. Satan has not given up though. Because he cannot destroy it, the Devil has inspired vain men to counterfeit it. They question it, they say that only the lost originals are correct, they say that we must know foreign languages in order to understand it, that we must mull over 30,000 extant manuscripts (which we could never touch) to know the truth, and, most deadly, that we must look to the scholarship of man to know what it really says. But what saith the scriptures about man?

For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. Isaiah 9:16
All Scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16

Can You Trust Your Lexicon?
A man picks up Thayer's Lexicon and looks up the English language meaning of a Greek word from the Bible. He then compares that meaning to the English translation he sees in his modern version and to the translation found in the King James Bible. What he is likely to notice is that, when the word is translated differently in his modern version than it is in the King James Bible, the lexicon agrees with the modern version. Aha!, he says, I've found an error in the King James Bible - you see, the modern version agrees with the lexicon.

In this instance, what the man has actually found is that [Joseph Henry] Thayer, the author of the lexicon and the contributor to the Revised Version, agrees with himself. Is this such a surprise? Should we have expected anything else? This is yet another strike against the modern versions. They are being translated by men who learned their Greek at the feet of an apostate Unitarian. For example, when they insist that the translation of monogenes should be "one of a kind" instead of "only begotten", who do you think taught them that?

The next time someone challenges your King James Bible with a Greek Lexicon, realize that what they are really doing is putting their apostate universalist Unitarian lexicon author up against the godly men who translated the King James Bible. The same holds true when a pastor stands in a pulpit and corrects the King James translators. It is simply a case of going to the other side to get an opinion.
If you can't trust your lexicon, who can you trust? Well, you could start by trusting God when He promised to preserve His word. There are good lexicons out there, but our trust is in God's preserved word.

I'll take the men who translated the King James Bible and the God who preserved His word over any dozen apostate men who write lexicons. Don't let the lexicon, or those that trust in it, deceive you. Stick with your King James Bible.

In Awe of Thy Word

Understanding the King James Bible, Its History and Mystery, Letter by Letter, tells us that it is concerned with the smallest elements of language as it is conveyed by the Bible, with the alphabet itself and simple phonemes. The book expounds the use of these in the Bible as no other book has ever done. The very smallest of these elements, letters, vowels, consonants, and syllables, were given to us by God. The nature of the letters and syllables and their arrangement into sequences are crucial to making the meaning of words and passages intelligible to us, so that they stand alone without need of lexicon or commentary.

There is an important word which applies to these small elements of language and to their combination into understandable syllables and words. That word is prosody. The dictionary definition is "the art of versification and the study of metrical (rhythmic) structure, rhyme, and stanza forms." The word is from the Middle English, prosodie, and, before that, from an ancient Greek word, prosodi, which means song sung to music and has the connotation of accent. Remember that the entire Old Testament, given in Hebrew in metrical form, was meant to be sung, and that the notation of the singing is specified in the accents embedded in the Hebrew text. The versification of the Old Testament is also embedded in the text. God intended His words to be given to us in a poetic and musical form. Why?

Ordinary prose writing, the dull voice of man's wisdom, cannot match the richness of speech that we find in preaching or the beauty of poetry and cannot duplicate their effect on our hearts. A speaker can communicate meaning and message by stress, pitch, meter, and pauses, melodic speech if you will. Therefore, in order to achieve, in writing, the richness and full meaning of speech, prosody and meter, which are poetic, must be made intrinsic to the writing. That kind of writing, because it is memorable and naturally suited to our minds, has the power to stabilize and preserve language. The greatest richness, beauty, poetry, and power in all literature is given to us in the inspired King James Bible and only in that singular revelation.

An infant hears its mother speak while it is still in the womb. Its rearing begins before it is placed in its mother's arms. By at least one month of age the child can recognize the voice of its own mother as different from that of other women. The effortless and natural building of language by infants is made possible by a vocal scaffold. That scaffold is the universal sing-song "baby talk" or "motherese" by which mothers, the world over, with biblical natural affection, speak to their infants. Motherese is characterized by a high pitched voice, trochaic rhythm with accent on the first of two syllables, and an increase in duration of the first syllable. Mothers "speak comfortably unto" their children, in a "soft answer," and in so doing give them peace and rest. They give them "vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope." Fathers also do this in a different and more authoritative, but still important, way. Both father and mother are required for successful teaching and rearing of infants.

Prosody in the speech of the mother and father gives cues to the infant which it can recognize and retain, certainly before the age of 9 months. Prosodic cues enable the infant to organize and encode what is heard, and they serve as a basis for later acquisition of syntax, that is, the arrangement of words into phrases and sentences. Upon these prosodic "pegs" are later "hung" the syntax that the infant naturally acquires and the meanings of words and their proper placement in sequence in a phrase or sentence.

God made us, alone among all His creatures, with minds and vocal anatomy meant for language. It develops naturally and without formal teaching. At a very early time, before the age of two years, a child can combine words into meaningful phrases and sentences which are not simply copied but are used properly to express things the child has not heard before.

But even though we grow to maturity and may think ourselves free from needing the simple comforts of prosody and poetry, we still must have them, as much as children and as long as life lasts. We who think ourselves wise must become as little children and be spoken comfortably unto; we also need vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope; we need the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort to heal the brokenhearted.

Dr. James Sightler, M.D., pediatrician and author, from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the nations #1 medical school, prompted by his 36 year career observing linguistic development, highly recommends the linguistic and historical research in In Awe of Thy Word.

Life Flashes Before Your Eyes

Testimony #1:
Whilst my mind was showing me images of my life to that point (approx eight years old) I was viewing them as though I was an observer, as in a cinema room. even though my eyes were open, I saw nothing but these flashes of my life and no noise.

It felt as though time ceased to exist, there was just that moment in time, no past no future. What I do recall was each image made me feel either good, bad or nothing. If the feelings were bad, it was as though I was feeling what the other person would have felt and as a result of that I felt that i was being judged for all my deeds but also being enlightened to how my actions affected other people.

There was no hiding from the the truth of any of the actions, you knew at that level it was wrong and so did those who were observing your judgment. No words were spoken, they did not judge you as such, you did that yourself. They just listened to your thoughts and said nothing.

Testimony # 2:
I am a retired Naval Aircrewman, with 6,000 hours flying in various US Navy aircraft. I am a university graduate, and also hold a post-graduate degree. In 1981, my aircraft was involved in a near mid-air collision with a small private aircraft. My pilot took evasive action.

Our plane port-side stalled toward the San Francisco Bay, and several huge power lines. I remember the ground rushing towards us. With all kinds of chatter on my headphones, everything fell silent, and my entire life (22 years old at the time) flashed before me.

My parents, grandparents, cousins, etc. were all as they were every time I had seen them. I remembered every last detail, colors, faces everything for my entire life.

Most importantly, I saw some really rotten things that I had done in my life. I have never forgotten how terrible I felt about some of the things I had done that hurt others' feelings, and I'm talking about some things from when I was a child. This experience drastically altered my behavior for the rest of my life.

When our plane finally pulled out of its stall, the sound came back on, but it seemed like an eternity before anyone said anything. The crew member sitting adjacent to me looked in my direction and our eyes locked, and I can see this guy's face right this minute, indelibly burned into my memory.

Testimony #3:
I was riding a motorcycle east on Frank Phillips Blvd. A car darted across between the traffic.

I was seconds away from impact. I looked and there was no avoiding it. I laid the bike down and slid across the pavement. I saw the left front tire coming right for my head. I covered my head and suddenly it was complete silence and my entire life flashed across my brain. It was beautiful.

Then I was back and I heard the skidding tires and the car stopped inches away from my head. When I looked up I saw the underside of the front bumper and the tire was stopped about six inches from my head.

Testimony #4:

This happened to me when I was seven. I fell from an apple tree at a height of maybe 10 feet, but I thought I was going to die. In a second or two, I had hundreds of images and short "clips" flash before me.

Just to be clear, the images were in my head, and not my actual eyes. They came in no particular order, and it was mostly smiling friends and family who were saying my name or telling me they love me.

I couldn't believe how many of these images were things I had already forgotten. While I thought I was going to die, it was still a feeling of love and joy. It was the most amazing experience of my life. If I had to think of what heaven was like, that would have been it.

Answer to the Mystery above:
(Malachi 3:16, 17; 1 Corinthians 3:13.) Angels Marking Deeds of Men.—All heaven is interested in our salvation. The angels of God are walking up and down the streets of these cities, and marking the deeds of men. They record in the books of God’s remembrance the words of faith, the acts of love, the humility of spirit; and in that day when every man’s work shall be tried of what sort it is, the work of the humble follower of Christ will stand the test, and will receive the commendation of Heaven (The Review and Herald, September 6, 1890

As Accurate as Photographer’s Plate.—All of us, as beings blessed of God with reasoning powers, with intellect and judgment, should acknowledge our accountability to God. The life He has given us is a sacred responsibility, and no moment of it is to be trifled with; for we shall have to meet it again in the record of the judgment. In the books of heaven our lives are as accurately traced as in the picture on the plate of the photographer. Not only are we held accountable for what we have done, but for what we have left undone. We are held to account for our undeveloped characters, our unimproved opportunities (The Review and Herald, September 22, 1891).

Our Characters Represented in Books.—In the books of heaven are accurately recorded the sneers and the trivial remarks of sinners who pay no heed to the call of mercy made, as Christ is presented to them by His ministering servants. As the artist takes on the polished glass a true picture of the human face, so the angels of God daily place upon the books of heaven an exact representation of the character of every human being (The Signs of the Times, February 11, 1903).

So it was the guardian angel that record one's whole life, and when one's life is about to end, he flashes one's entire life in 1 second, and simultaneously safe that person, to give that person a chance to seek Jesus Christ, his atoning blood to wash away all sins upon repentance, and to walk in "New Life" as the "New Creature" as son of God.

KJV Archaic Words Rules

Person Case Singular Plural
1st n/a n/a
2nd "-est" n/a
3rd "-eth" n/a

NOTE: Not all 2nd person singular verbs end with "-est", but all verbs that end with "-est" are 2nd person singular. Likewise, not all 3rd person singular verbs end with "-eth", but all verbs that end with "-eth" are 3rd person singular.

For example, let's look at the verb "love" in the KJV. The verb will always fit the table above as follows:

Person Case Singular Plural
1st I love we love
2nd thou lovest ye love
3rd he loveth they love

It is similar to the person-case rules for the modern verb "is":

Person Case Singular Plural
1st I am we are
2nd you are you are
3rd he is they are
They explain the "-est" and "-eth" suffixes on verbs as signifying continual action (Greek "perfect tense") as opposed to a one-time action (Greek "aorist tense"). Their error raises an important question: these tenses and duration indication on verbs are present in the Greek scriptures from which our English translations have been produced. However, these tenses are absent in English, so the meanings (aorist vs. perfect) are lost during translation, and must be guessed at by a reader. This indicates that no English version, including the KJV, can be totally "perfect", and that study of the underlying languages can provide meaning that is lost in English. From Greek and Hebrew to English.

Person Case Singular Plural
1st I shall/will
we shall
2nd thou shalt/ wilt
ye shall
3rd he shall/will they shall

Person Case Singular Plural
1st I have, am
we have, are
2nd thou hast, art
ye have, are
3rd he hath, is
they have, are
